Have you ever sent that late night email that you immediately regretted the next day? Perhaps you had a few too many cocktails and sent a love email to your ex. Google has decided to help those late night partiers out with the new Mail Goggles software.

Mail Goggles come to life after dark and on weekends and requires that five simple math problems be answered correctly in less than a minute in order to send a Gmail message. Google has made the Goggles program an optional feature and users can set the times when it is active. I have a feeling that if I was sending a drunk email, Goggles would provide more entertainment as I try over and over again to get all five questions right. At least that might give me time to reconsider whether I really want to be sending the email message, after all.
