EzineArticles.com already has a high PR of 6 or 7 and if you manage to get more links pointing to your articles, they will be ranked quicker and higher. Basic SEO knowledge.
Here’s how you do it:
Go to your expert author page where all your articles are listed. The URL will look like this:

When starting an article marketing campaign, it is very helpful to understand how Google’s linking algorithm views these article links. Generally speaking, Google gives credit for your article links in a standard “Bell Curve”. This means that when you blast an article to hundreds of sites, Google gives you link credit for a few of the links at first, then rising to a peak at around 8-10 weeks out. After that, Google tapers the links off to avoid giving too much credit to stale content. So, how can you use this knowledge to maximize your marketing?
It’s pretty simple, really. The key is to publish your articles gradually over time. Don’t publish 5 at one, then wait a month to publish more. You will get much more effect by publishing 1 or 2 articles each week. This way, when one article starts to lose its value in Google, you will have several more gaining steam in order to pick up the slack. This method will allow you to maximize the link benefit from your article marketing campaign.

I wanted to let everyone know about a service that I tried out recently and have been very happy with the results and value so far. There are hundreds of sites that offer directory submissions and/or social bookmarking services for webmasters, but many offer poor service and results. I recently came across one service that I found to be very inexpensive and a truly great value.
Link Popularity is a site that offers social bookmarking, directory submission, and article writing and submission services for very fair prices. I have not used the site’s article writing or submission services, so I cannot make any claims for those. I have used the social bookmarking and directory submission services and have been very happy with the results. The services for both start at only $9.95 and offer great value for this price. There are more comprehensive plans available also, so you can buy according to your budget.
The service is very easy to set up and you provide your link information after making payment through paypal. Unlike many more dubious services, Link Popularity actually emails you a submission report when the work is completed which shows you exactly where your site was submitted and even which user accounts were used for social bookmarket. This allows you to check and ensure that you are actually getting what you paid for.
The benefits often take a few days to a week to see, but I have found benefits from even the least expensive packages. I highly recommend this service, especially the social bookmarking service. Hopefully you will find it useful also.

I hope you have enjoy this series on article marketing and I wish you the best of luck as you put these tips and techniques into practice. This will be the final entry in this article series, but there will be lots more marketing information to come in the future.
Once you have written your article and done all the necessary optimisation, it becomes time for the most important part of article marketing…getting your article posted. No matter how good your article is, if you aren’t able to get it posted on many directory sites, you won’t see much benefit from your efforts. As you remember, our goal in article marketing is to generate quality backlinks, and the best way to do that is to get your article listed in as many places as possible.

In the second part of the Article Marketing Tips series, I want to discuss the important items to consider when writing your articles to be used in your article marketing campaign. There are several key numbers to keep in mind when working on your articles. It is pretty widely agreed upon in the internet marketing arena that it is best to write articles between 400 and 700 words in length. The general idea behind this range is that it provides you a long enough article to optimise for any targeted keywords, while keeping you from spending too much time on each article. The other important number range is 2% to 5%, which is the ideal concentration for your targeted keywords in the article.

One of the best ways to build links to your website and increase traffic is through article marketing. If you aren’t familiar with article marketing, it is simply writing unique articles and submitting them to various article directories that will post them online. While article marketing can lead to some direct traffic from readers of the articles, you will likely see more benefit from the backlinks generated from having your article (and the accompanying link to your site) posted at hundreds of websites.

With the growing importance of backlinks in today’s search engine rankings, article marketing has become a very popular method of web marketing. There are thousands of websites out there that are willing to publish quality articles for free, but submitting your articles to each website is a very long and tedious process. That’s where services like Article Marketer come in.
Article Marketer boast a large and diverse list of clients ranging from large PR firms down to small home based businesses. The service has the largest distribution list (~6,000 sites) of any of the automated submission services I have come across. Each client provides Article Marketer specific guidelines for the type of articles they are looking for and the service matches submitted articles with these guidelines.
Having used the service for several months myself, I have to admit that getting articles approved and through the process is difficult and time consuming at first. When you submit an article to the site, it is first reviewed by an automated review process that will find any issues with formatting or article links. Once you correct any issues found by the automated process, your article will be scheduled for human review within 1 business day. At first, my articles were getting flagged several times by both reviews and I was forced to make many revisions. After a while though, you start to learn the keys to getting your articles approved and things move faster.
While the difficulty of the review process was a pain, it is actually one of the best and most unique features of Article Marketer. A lot of time is spent reviewing each article to ensure that its format and content is optimized to get published by the maximum number of publications. Once you get your article approved by Article Marketer, you are almost guaranteed to get published on A LOT of websites.
So what’s the downside? Price. The service is pretty expensive and ranges from $20-$30 a month depending on how long you subscribe. There is also a lifetime subscription for $499 if you have a large enough marketing budget. There is a free version of the service, but I found it to be pretty ineffective.
So, is Article Marketer worth the money? That depends. If you plan to use article marketing as part of your strategy to get more visibility for your website, then absolutely. You will be amazed at how quickly you will see your backlinks grow in the search engines. Article Marketer even stores your articles and continues to distribute them to new sites as long as you are a member. If you do not enjoy writing fresh content and are not able or willing to pay others to write for you, this isn’t the service for you. If you are on the fence about it, I suggest trying out the 3-month subscription service first and seeing if you like it. I think you will be impressed with the results.
